Where it all began...
Fashion has always been second nature to me, an instinct honed over more than a decade of working with women in some of the UK and Australia’s most prestigious fashion brands. As a sales advisor, I wasn’t just helping customers find clothes; I was listening - really listening - to their experiences, frustrations, and aspirations when it came to style. The stories were always the same: struggling to find pieces that flatter, the stress of dressing for multiple occasions, and the challenge of making trends work for real life.
As a visual merchandiser, I learned how to style windows and mannequins in ways that made people stop and take notice - transforming displays into living representations of style. My years in fashion were about more than just selling clothes; they were about
understanding how style shapes confidence and how the right outfit can completely change the way you move through the world.
So, how did this evolve into something bigger?
I knew I wanted to take my passion further, not only style outfits, but also empower women to style themselves, their way. That’s when I decided to invest in my craft, training with the best. At the prestigious Katie Daly Makeup Academy, I honed my skills in makeup artistry, learning how to enhance natural beauty in ways that complement
personal style. At The London College of Style, I mastered the technical aspects of styling, from body shape analysis and colour theory to trend forecasting, equipping me with the knowledge to truly make those killer looks possible.
This combination of real-world experience and professional training is what makes KTJ Styling unique. It’s not about following trends or adhering to rigid rules; it’s about creating looks that feel uniquely you, every single time.
